This section details all of the CSV files that can be generated by the PoreXpert reporting system for use with spread sheet software for further analysis of the results and advanced research applications.

The labelling is in English.  CSV is an abbreviation for 'Comma Separated Variables'.  However, some countries, such as Germany, use commas as a decimal separator, so using that also to separate the data points in an output stream from PoreXpert would cause chaos, as it did during our very first international Pore-Cor training course. So the data separators within PoreXpert are language-specific - e.g. comma for English, semi-colon for German - an example is shown overleaf.

 

Each subsequent section will explain the results in the spreadsheet, how the individual CSV reports are named and provide an example figure of the CSV reporting.
