Over the years of development of PoreXpert and its predecessor Pore-Cor, we have carried out various validations of the simulations - i.e. the extent to which they match measured properties, specifically void sizes, permeability, tortuosity and filtration. The properties themselves are difficult to measure, for a variety of reasons, which is why PoreXpert is such a useful tool.
