The tutorials section introduces the users to the software introducing the basic features before working towards more advanced operations. By following the tutorials you learn how to make the most of the features available to you. The tutorial system will use example files that are provided with the software, if your software version does not include the example file that has been used in the tutorial, you can find the example files by going to the website downloads page and downloading the zip file with the tutorial sample files.

The tutorial section on the website will be more up to date than the local version of the tutorial section, if you have an internet connection when using PoreXpert the software will automatically use the website version of the help system. If your computer is not connected to the internet you can access the up to date tutorials at http://www.PoreXpert.com/help/tutorial.htm.

The list below details the currently available tutorials in your version of the help system. Each section of the tutorial system contains a list of files that will be used for the tutorial. The Tutorial files should be located in your PoreXpert folder located in "My Documents", if the tutorial files are not in your My Documents folder they can be downloaded from the website. There are also PoreXpert files that have gone through the complete tutorial which you can open to investigate. If you are using PoreXpert, the data file will open but you may not be able to perform some of the operations, because it is not available in your version of the software. The tutorial files also include a sample PDF report for the tutorial and sample spread sheets with raw data. The PoreXpert file format tutorial files that can be downloaded from the website can also be opened using any of the PoreXtract viewers for PoreXpert files.
